Meet Dr. Rebecca Chilvers

A native of Shreveport, LA, Rebecca Chilvers MD has an appreciation for different cultures and good food. She and her husband Dean live in Frisco with their daughter Natalie and son Aaron.

She enjoys spending time with family and friends who live in various parts of Louisiana and Texas and vacationing at the beach when time permits.

Education & Training

She received her undergraduate degree at Baylor University in Waco, TX, and her medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA. Dr. Chilvers completed her residency and sub-specialty training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where she also earned a Master of Medical Science degree.

During medical school she received the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award and in residency she obtained a research grant and received numerous teaching awards. She has also been recognized as one of “America’s Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists”.

A True Demonstrator of Industry Leadership

Dr. Chilvers has published in peer-reviewed journals including Fertility and Sterility, Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics (JARG), and Reproductive Biomedicine, as well as in the journal Seminars in Reproductive Medicine. She reviews papers for the journals JARG and DNA and Cell Biology. Dr. Chilvers was recognized as a Mom-Approved Doctor by DallasChild magazine, a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly, Best Doctor for D Magazine Collin County, and has been selected for inclusion on the Texas Monthly Super Doctors ® Rising Star list. Dr. Chilvers enjoys helping patients with in vitro fertilization, preimplantation genetic testing, and fertility preservation via egg freezing.
