Meet Dr. Jerald Goldstein

Founder & Medical Director, Fertility Specialists of Texas

Dr. Jerald S. Goldstein, a native Texan, is the founder and medical director of Fertility Specialists of Texas. He is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. For more than 25 years, Dr. Goldstein has devoted his career to helping individuals and couples achieve their dreams of parenthood. His passion for fertility care is reflected not only in his expertise, but also in the kind and compassionate relationships he builds with each patient.

Education & Training

Dr. Goldstein graduated with honors from Tulane University before earning his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Following residency and fellowship training, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis. During this time, he authored scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals such as Fertility and Sterility and Obstetrics and Gynecology and lectured widely on topics related to reproduction and fertility.

Since founding Fertility Specialists of Texas, Dr. Goldstein has become known for his expertise in in vitro fertilization, recurrent pregnancy loss, polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis, donor egg treatment, pre-implantation genetic testing, and fertility preservation for couples undergoing cancer therapy. His leadership has helped Fertility Specialists of Texas become one of the most trusted fertility centers in the region, known for both advanced treatments and a patient-first approach.

He has consistently been featured in D Magazine’s Best Doctors in Dallas and Best Doctors in Collin County lists across several years—including 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2018, and 2013 and Texas Monthly Super Doctor, and has been listed among the Best Doctors in America, honors that reflect the respect of both patients and peers. He is also a member of the medical staff at Baylor Medical Center in Frisco and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, and an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI), and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).

As a proud husband and father, Dr. Goldstein enjoys spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons, Ryan and Ben — whether it’s cheering them on at school events or travelling with them to the mountains and the beach.
