Ferring’s Heart for Heroes Program

The Heart for Heroes program is specifically for medically separated veterans with service-related infertility and no coverage for IVF medications. Spouses and partners are also eligible under certain conditions. To qualify, participants must:

• Reside in the U.S. or District of Columbia
• Be a category 2 or 3 veteran (as defined by the Department of Defense)*
• Have a service-related injury resulting in infertility

Category 2 veterans include those with a serious injury or illness, who are unlikely to return to duty within a time specified by their Military Department, and who may be medically separated from the military.
